My story 🐾
Tata arrived at the shelter on 15 August 2022, picked up from Yordanska Street in the Obolon district of Kyiv — together with her kittens. They had been living on the street, with no roof and no one to call their own. Tata was already around five years old then.
In three and a half years at the shelter, Tata has been adopted and returned home four times. Not because she's a bad cat. Because she is shy around new people, and she needs more time to settle in than most people are willing to give. Tata won't jump into your arms on day one. She needs to exhale, to look around, to believe that this time it's for good.
She's 8–9 years old now. She barely gets noticed — there are always kittens nearby who get adopted faster. We're honest with ourselves: Tata will most likely stay with us for the rest of her life. So we're asking for the basics — the things she genuinely can't do without:
🔸 pâtés and meat (her favourite)
🔸 dry food
🔸 cat litter
🔸 basic veterinary care
Tata isn't fighting for her life — she's just living it. Quietly, carefully, waiting. Your monthly
