My story 🐾
Samba came to us from the small village of Novosilky — along with four tiny kittens she had been raising all on her own. One by one, the kittens found their homes and the people who would love them. Samba stayed behind.
It wasn't long before we learned why she struggled: Samba has diabetes. That means daily insulin injections, regular blood sugar monitoring, a strict therapeutic diet, and probiotics — every single day, without exception.
Samba will most likely be with us forever. And that's not a sad thing — she has become the quiet heart of our shelter. Calm, grateful, a little reserved — she simply enjoys each day surrounded by people who take care of her.
